What is a Turbocharger?
A turbocharger (colloquially called a "turbo") is a forced induction device that increases an engine's power and efficiency by forcing extra compressed air into the combustion chamber. It uses the engine's own exhaust gas flow to power a turbine, which then spins a compressor to pack more air into the cylinders.
